Endpin Stop

For your cello or bass, make sure you have an endpin stop. Nothing worse than having your endpin slide across a hard surface! The most common is the picture at the right. It is a simple rubber stop and it does the job quite well.

Another kind that I recommend is the one below. You place the one end under the chair and the endpin into the other end. It is adjustable and guarantees your cello or bass won't slip. Only drawback is that your chair has to have a leg that can fit into the loop.
